Investment Philosophy

Core to our investment philosophy is to first ensure downside protection by dampening volatility in each of our investments. We achieve this by using a disciplined approach to asset origination, acquiring assets at or below their age adjusted replacement cost. Once we have ensured a solid foundation, we build up utilizing profitable time charter contracts (where available), building portfolio diversification, and utilizing moderate leverage. In turn, this provides investments with a prolonged operating runway with which to optimize vessel performance and risk adjusted returns. We further enhance returns by partnering with leading commercial and technical managers within each segment, enabling a cost efficient entry and exit in each investment.
